On July 29, 2025, the "Entrepreneurial Yuezhou · Winning the Future with Intelligence" Shaoxing Excellent Projects 2025 SME Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, organized by the Shaoxing Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology, successfully concluded.
This competition received strong support from the Shaoxing Management Department of Zhejiang Rural Commercial Joint Bank, the Shaoxing Branch of China Mobile Communications Group Zhejiang Co., Ltd., and Zhejiang Shaoxing Ruifeng Rural Commercial Bank Co., Ltd. Liang Huaqiao, Deputy Director of the SME Development Division at the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Economy and Information Technology, along with Chen Yifeng, Deputy Director and Member of the Party Leadership Group of the Shaoxing Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology, and other leaders, attended the event.


This competition, launched in June, attracted a total of 381 project applications spanning key areas across various emerging fields. After rigorous screening, 20 outstanding projects have advanced to the city-level finals.
At the final venue, the project teams engaged in a thrilling showdown, focusing on breakthroughs in critical core technologies and their industrial applications. The roadshow was packed with exciting presentations, while the Q&A session featured sharp, insightful exchanges—clearly showcasing the vibrant dynamism of Shaoxing's innovative strength.
Ultimately, Shaoxing Junji Energy Technology Co., Ltd.'s "Alcohol-Hydrogen Power – Liquid Sunshine Empowers Heavy-Duty Low-Carbon Practices" project won the Excellence Award at the municipal finals of the 2025 Shaoxing Good Project SME Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition.

Shaoxing Junji Energy Technology Co., Ltd. is a national high-tech enterprise specializing in the research and development, production, sales, and service of hydrogen fuel cells, alcohol-hydrogen power systems, and innovative metal composite materials.
The core team of this project comprises technology experts, hydrogen energy specialists, materials science experts, artificial intelligence algorithm specialists, information technology experts, energy sector entrepreneurs, and manufacturing executives—possessing comprehensive capabilities spanning "technology R&D, industry implementation, and market expansion."
This project focuses on a liquid methanol-to-hydrogen power solution, leveraging the "97% direct methanol injection + 3% onboard hydrogen generation for co-firing" technology to address the challenge of low-carbon propulsion in heavy-duty applications such as trucks and ships. By integrating an onboard reformer that enables on-the-go hydrogen production from methanol, the system optimizes power output via advanced internal combustion engine control. It delivers exceptional performance, including cold-start capability down to -40°C, boosts engine thermal efficiency by up to 50.3%, and achieves remarkable fuel efficiency—allowing a 49-ton truck to operate within a cost range of just 1.1 yuan per kilometer. Targeted at high-emission, long-range, and heavy-load scenarios, this innovative solution plays a pivotal role in advancing carbon-neutral transportation while reshaping energy infrastructure for the future.
The successful hosting of this year's competition once again highlights Shaoxing's robust industrial foundation and vibrant innovation ecosystem, providing strong support for the city to accelerate its development into a high-level innovation-driven city and drive high-quality economic growth.
